Since we turned that page on 2013 last night, what are your 2014 goals?

I need to think it through a bit, but I'm leaning towards:

1) A new PR in the marathon (2:58:02) > target 2:55
2) A new PR in the 10k (38:44) > not sure sub 38 is in the cards, but.....
3) Run 3000 miles for the year - tops is 2600
4) Run one week for 100 miles - tops is about 82
5) Support Chelsea in her 2:43 goal

Maybe a 100k race, maybe a relay, maybe a trail race, maybe something like the Mt. Washington race............

1.  PR at Houston on the 19th, then figure out a way to knock off another 30 minutes for next year's.
2.  Run about that many miles, with about half done in high humidity during the middle of the night.
3.  Gain about 10 pounds until August, then I'll lose the 10 pounds by January.
4.  Try not to be too, too serious.

I need goals like Doug's.

1) Run well at Boston.  I don't want to tag a time as winter already looks like a winner, but I would like to be sub-4 or better.
2) Stay healthy and injury free.
3) Continue to work with my trainer and attend my fun core class even if it is at 5:50 am.
4) Run between 1800-2000 miles.
5) Run a sub 3:45 marathon in the fall - location to be determined.
6) Figure out the best schedule to make Boston 2015 my 50th marathon.

Pretty simple for 2014:

1. Run More
2. More Consistent
3. Run More
4. More Consistent
5. Run More

Once the above has been meet race times and accomplishments will be fulfilled.

I will also add that I have changed my eating habits for 2014. Started doing this at the end of 2013 so it won't be a shock to my body. Moved to a Flexable eating style more vegetarian but with the option of still having chicken and fish in my diet.

Finish a marathon! My first attempt was cancelled because of weather conditions.
And I'd like to get more consistent with my running.

Setting the bar on the low side...hoping my knee can sustain one last marathon training cycle and then run a respectable Boston.
After that, assuming my shoulder is finally healed after last month's surgery, get back in the water and get back to triathlons.

1. Run at least 100 miles every month.
2. Utah Grand Slam (4 Utah marathons in 1 calendar year - Ogden, Park City, Big Cottonwood, & St George).  Never done more than 3 in a year.
3. No hard and fast time goals.  Train hard, but run each race as the conditions of the day allow.

Well...

PR in the Half or Full.  Likely the Full (2:50) is more likely, versus the Half (1:16).
Finally Break 17 in the 5K; been 17:0X many times.

Run More, greater than 2,859 of this year.

2) Run one road marathon to help improve my corral placement when I ...
3) Prepare for and (in 2015) run the Goofy Challenge with my brother-in-law at Walt Disney World.
4) More barefooting!
