Running Clothes Detergent?
I have been using WIN Detergent for many years as I feel it did the best job over Penguine. However, I ran out of my last WIN and I can't seem to find it. The company looks to be out of stock along with all other on line retailers. (Are they out of business?)
Can someone recommend another product?
Thanks,

YES! Tide Sport! Swear by it!!
You get twice as much for the cost of WIN, and you can find it at any local grocery store. Plus, if you belong to COSTCO, they sell the big jugs of it.

I've never tried any special detergent. I have just been use regular old Tide for my laundry. Of course, I have not had any issues with my running gear smelling...hmm...

Do you do "sports laundry" with Tide Sport and "regular laundry" with regular Tide? Or do you use Tide Sport for all laundry?

We do the "sports laundry" with the Tide Sport and the "regular laundry" with regular Tide with April Fresh. We do that, because I like the April Fresh fabric softener, and you're not supposed to use fabric softener on tech shirts and stuff.

I know, right? I just rinse out my running clothes in the shower immediately, then after a wash they smell fine. Or I'm just used to the stench.
Re: Running Clothes Detergent?
I just air-dry my stuff after every run and it's good to go the next day. Plus, when I run on the treadmill at the gym, no one wants to run on either side of me. Or behind me. or in front of me.

Re: Running Clothes Detergent?
I use the el-cheapo detergent (powdered purex) and then hang everything to dry. Works fine for me...

Yeah I use to do that but even with rinsing mine out they still stink and well Lisa will yell at me that my running cloths stink.

Hey Greg that is a great idea I will have to remember that for next winter. The only problem as I stated above is that I have to get Lisa to agree to me doing that.

I have never had any issues either. I think that certain people must just have an odor.

If you have an outdoors clothesline that really helps.

Well that explains a lot. Remind me to make sure you take a rest day the day before we drive to Hell, MI again.

Re: Running Clothes Detergent?
Whoa, the i-Team/365runners must have some funk goin' on. I alternate between 2 pairs of shorts all week, wear each 3x (by the last day, they're probably not pleasant to be around, but they're not AWFUL) and then wash them with all my laundry (running/cycling/normal). No residual stink.

Sounds like you got some funk going on also. Are you sure the stuff doesn't stink?

Re: Running Clothes Detergent?
Hey now, I admitted that it's not at all pleasant the last 2 days, but I know that when it comes out of the laundry, it's fresh.
...Shoot, now I'm going to have to take a survey next time I wash them.

Re: Running Clothes Detergent?
We use the Tide Sport for everything. It does a good job of removing the stink from our girls clothes.
Now if they could just figure out a way to remove the stink from their bodies.
