Quite a day in the Windy City.
Even had a cameo appearance by Julio. Three beers. Three Cheers!

Day miles  type .
Mon     8  easy  74°F
Tue    10  easy  55°F
Wed    10  tempo 59°F
Thu    11  easy  58°F Out-n-back MCM miles 6-11 in cold rain/drizzle/spit.
Fri     - 
Sat     -             Rest due to head cold.
Sun    20  long  60°F Circle Line tour of DC with Messrs. Chris & Scott.
Week   59

Nice running, Kevin.  I guess we will see each other in a month's time.

Mon - Day off
Tues - 8 miles (2 x 800, 2 x 1600, 2 x 400); Core and weights   (speedwork done at 7:30 pace)
Wed - 5 easy miles
Thurs - 6 miles with striders; Core and weights
Fri - 21 miles 
Sat - 10.5 miles
Sun - 6 miles

WTD:  56.5

YTD:  1397

Last year I finished with only 1598 miles and the first six months were good.  Then the struggles began.

Tuesday - yoga
Wednesday - weights. 
Thursday - 11.85 miles, 12:48 pace, 137 avg HR, and 62/62 degrees.
Friday - weights
Saturday - 15.74 miles, 13:23 pace, 147 avg HR, 76/76 degrees.

34.24 miles for the week.

Fairly easy week after pacing a marathon in 3:45 last week left me sore for a bit longer than I expected.

Cutback for me

T - 6mi easy and meh
W - 7mi easy on rollers
Th - 4mi easy
F - off
S - 6.5mi easy
S - 9.5mi w/ 3x 1mi @ "MP" (6:34, 6:41, 6:37... can't quite dial in on 6:45)

Chicago marathon week - took numerous extra rest days due to this unexpected PF issue the past month or so that is worsening.

Mon - 5.5 miles easy
Tue - 5.9 miles easy
Wed - rest
Thu - 5.1 miles easy
Fri - rest
Sat - rest
Sun 26.2 Chicago marathon 3:49:59

Week - 43 miles
YTD - 1,562 miles

Sun - 14 miles Boston 1/2 Marathon as training run [Ran with my wife for 2 miles (11/mile), progressively faster through the dense field, finished in 1:34 ~ 5:xx last miles]
