Re: Wear Your Boston Jacket
Almost wore it to class yesterday, but we have a pretty strict dress code. Will definitely be sporting it all day today.

I think its a great idea. Support BOS, the race and all the victims. A bit of a tribute. Wish I knew how to start a national movement.

And for those of us who have never been to Boston, we can wear another event shirt or apparel. I have a Lincoln Marathon shirt on.

Re: Wear Your Boston Jacket
I have my gear on from yesterday! Reporters met our plane from Cleveland and I was interviewed since by then everyone on the plane knew I was the closest runner to the horrific events. I'm not sure anymore if I'm really ok as I have had this terrific headache since yesterday. I'm so sickened, saddened, frustrated, and furious that i'm thinking of running Cleveland (if the weather is good) just to get that BQ (it is a flat course) so I can go back. Those bastards are not going to beat me. I didn't get this year's medal, but I want one from next year.
However, I'm not sure if I will run any other big city marathons for a while. Honestly, no one will bother with Cleveland. I am already worried for London.

I'm no doctor, but you might want to go see one. Blast concussions from IEDs in the military are not uncommon, I think, and I've heard descriptions of these bombs in today's press that liken them to the IEDs used overseas against our soldiers. Probably nothing to worry about, but if the symptoms persist, a doctor's advice might be a good thing.
