I don't quite understand why it's 2oz heavier than the original, but it sure looks cool.

If I had to guess, the Flyknit Lunar will replace the Flyknit Trainer (which was ~9 ounces) and they'll continue to make the Flyknit Racer.

8 ounces isn't light enough to be marketed as their signature racing flat.
