time to get down to serious Boston training
Mon - 8
Tue - 8 with 4 @ 6:35 (MP = 6:40 - I hope)
Wed - 5 ez
Thu - 7 with 6 strides
Fri - Alternation run 8 total with 4 in the middle as follows: 1/2 @ 6:30, 1/2 @ 7:10 repeat cycle 4 times - had to do on a treadmill due to ice roads
Sat - 4 recovery
Sun - 14 -
Had chance to run last three days with Chelsea who is home for the holidays - fun
Hired a coach from Hanson-Brooks Distance Project - will see how that goes.

Mon-Fri - rest (weights and a few cross training sessions)
Sat - 5 miles as HR test
Sun - 5 miles as HR test
Week - 10 miles

I didn't train this week, but I did run a 15 mile progression yesterday and a 20 miler today with pickups at the end.

I'll try and remember what I ran last week...4 weeks till 100
Miler.
M: 11 w/ 10 min. In am. Half MP, 8 min @10k pace, 7 min @ 10k pace, 6 min @ 5k pace, 4 min @ 5k pace, 2 min @5k pace. Half time recovery. 4 easy pm
T: 12 easy, core, plyos, hip strengthening, weights
W: 10 w/ progression to 10k pace in am, 5 pm
Th: 10 easy
F: 5 easy w/ core, weights, hips strengthening
Sat: 40 miles total - Fatass 50k, which turned out to be 34.8. Won a stocking full of useful runner stuff then ran extra. Very cold - 20 degrees. I want to move to Florida.
Sun: 20 miles. Holy mental toughness Batman. Light weights.
117 miles/week. I can't believe I just wrote that.

Hey! I ran another 20 miles today... on the treadmill! Still not training, but that's 55 miles in 4 days....
