new PR today. First time running a mile since 10th grade makes a PR easy. Very Happy

First ever road mile. Interesting distance. Would have to actually practice this distance to be any good at it. Took 2nd and 3rd quarters a bit too easy. But whatever. Gives you guys something to gun for. 5:41 age 56.

Been a good summer. Ran the HM in Charlevoix last weekend. Last cool day of the season I think. Posted a PR of 1:24:43. Finally times are coming down to where I was hoping they would be.

Good start to the season, with the early-morning temperature still at 84˚F, so I'm fairly confident of going under 20 minutes when the weather gets cooler. That will be the first time in five years.
