Summer NON running shoes

So...on those rare occations when you kick off your running shoes and allow your tootsies to breathe...what do you wear? I can no longer wear cheapie flip flops!

Some people out here would wear Crocs, but the State of Colorado banned them last year. It was a state constitutional amendment and it passed by a huge margin.

Montrail Molokinis! They are the best! They are flip flops that you put into the oven and heat up, take out and step on to mold to your feet. These are the most amazing flip flops I've ever owned and they come in cute colors. I bought mine on Zappos, but they have them at Moosejaw ( Moosejaw). Check 'em out:

I have a pair Adidas saddle with those massage particles. Love it.

I wear worn-out running shoes but whatever you do, get something that costs at least something instead of hurting your legs/knees wearing something really cheap.

Do those flip flops run true to size? the husband swears by his Reefs but I really dont like them.

I wear Sole brand flip flops. They have an anatomical footbed that molds itself to your foot shape. Most comfortable shoes ever! I have walked miles in them with no issues. YourSole.com

I wear my retired running shoes outside if just casual or socks/barefoot in house. Flip flops not my style unless at beach or pool and there I wear the leather type sandals. Never understood people wearing them to the mall or walking around outside. Seems way to close to the dirt!

I have been wearing Keens for years. They provide lots more support than flip-flops, can be worn in water, and even hiking. Zappos has a wide selection of colors and styles. I like the Newport model myself.

Those Tamarakian (spelling: whatever, who cares) Indians use used tire sandals so I think I'll strap on a pair of those.

I've been a Teva 'original' style wearer forever. Can't take the backpacker out of the runner.

I have an old pair of Nike ACG sandals that simply refuse to wear out.

+1 I've been wearing them for years and wouldn't dream of wearing anything else. Newport

I've worn the same pair for two years now. Maybe I'll buy a new pair! They still look and feel great.

Barefoot is good and so are stilettos.
