Seemed like a nice guy - wonder what happened but I like to think he died on his terms doing what he loved to do.

Only part that's got me scratching my head is the fact that he was planning a 12-miler. That's not really far enough to get that lost or anything... Hm.

I would guess since there were no signs of trauma he may have suffered from heart failure.
