Race time temps will start at 40 degrees with a NW wind at 5 with broken clouds.

Sadly, the conditions today, on January 31st, will likely be better than race morning.

Too flat for me (even after living in flatter Cleveland), but I do love the city and marathon weekend is one of the best.
Re: Ready for Chicago Registration?
Not running Chicago Marathon. I still hope to get out there for the Lakefront 50/50 50 miler one of these years.

Re: Ready for Chicago Registration?
I'm going to sign up and head out there to see so many of you although I think it may be a non-goal race for me unless the weather ends up being ideal. Goal race would be something later in the Fall like Philly.
EDIT - got a voicemail message from Schuey and that pushed me right over the top to pulling the trigger so I'm fully signed up and heading there for my 3rd Chicago in a row. I kind of like Schuey's Boston/Chicago streak he's got going and this will put me at 3 in a row for both races so I'm a good bit behind his Boston/Chicago streaks but I love that guarantee of getting to hang with the Bull and his family along with so many other friends at these events. The running part never gets me as fired up as getting to hang with Dave, Schuey and a lot of you. But I know it will be a great time no matter how the running ends up. My running time was bleh at Chicago but what I'll remember forever is getting to do a really long run side by side with Schuey and then going to watch Weezer live with Dave and Jim. Good times. No, GREAT TIMES! Hope to see a lot of you in Chicago in October!

So who is all signed up?? It only took 31 days last year to fill and I bet it takes less than that this year...

Weather doesn't suck when I run it...
I am in with hotel confirmed. Do it! Aside from a great race in a great town with great weather... you will get to meet me at that place Dave likes... ;-)

Well, I'm in as well, and hope it won't be an expensive training run. I am also toying with the idea of a target November race this year, something I've never done.

Jerry is expecting large expense increase this year, thus is in saving mode. However, he did order iPhone 4S yesterday.

Re: Ready for Chicago Registration?
After I crossed the finish line in Chicago in 2005 I said 'never again'. Thankfully, I've been able to keep my word for seven years now!

Join me in the Chicago-Philly double? My cut off is 49 degrees. That or cooler and it is 'A' race. Otherwise, LSD run and Philly becomes the goal.
